Valentine Quiltworks
Valentine Quiltworks is an award winning professional machine quilting service utilizing a state-of-the-art computer assisted Gammill Optimum longarm quilting machine. Valentine Quiltworks opened for business in July, 2006.
My Red Sox t-shirt quilt won two ribbons at the Machine Quilter’s Expo (MQX) in Manchester, New Hampshire in April 2007; First Place, Quilts of the Future (quilted with a computer guided longarm machine), and Rookie of the Year. This annual quilt show and conference, which relocated to Providence, Rhode Island in 2010, draws quilt entries from extremely talented machine quilters from all over the world. This Red Sox quilt was then featured in the “Quilters Newsletter Magazine” special publication, “Quilt It For Keepsakes” in December 2007.
In 2010 I designed, pieced, and quilted a complex quilt that is published in RaNae Merrill’s book “Magnificent Spiral Mandala Quilts”. It is featured in the design section, for my unique approach to the design process.
About the Quilter
I have been designing and piecing quilts for more than 33 years, and sewing award winning custom clothing since I was a young child. I was also a professional programmer/analyst in the telecommunications industry for many years.
Computer assisted machine quilting has become my passion, bringing together my love for quilting and my knowledge of computers. Combining creativity, inspiration, technology, precision, personal service, integrity, and quality workmanship, I offer you the very best in custom quilt finishing.
